Allow you to control and administer your own account.

Registered staff and student users of the SCRIPT website.

Taking/ reviewing SCRIPT tests.

Contact details (username and institution), test results.

Allow us to provide our service to you.

Allow you to take and review your test activities.

Registered staff users of the SCRIPT website.

Reviewing cohort SCRIPT test results.

Contact details (username and/or name and institution), test results.

Allow us to provide our service to you.

Allow staff level users to access results for their student users within their own institution.

Basis for processing

We will process your data for the purposes set out above to:

  • fulfil a contract entered into with us by your institution to allow us to provide our services.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal data with third parties.

How long will we retain your data for?

Will we retain your data for as long as we are providing the services to you. Once your use of the service has expired, your data will be deleted. For most student users this will happen at the end of the final academic year of study.

Your data

We store this information securely, in accordance with applicable data protection law. The information will not be shared for marketing purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • request a copy of the personal information about you that we hold.
  • ask us to delete inaccurate information.
  • in some cases, you may ask us to restrict how we use your personal information.
  • to have your personal data/ account erased. 

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact: dataprotection@strath.ac.uk. Note that erasing your account will mean you no longer have access to our services.

Complaints

We seek to resolve directly all complaints about how we handle personal information, but you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office https://ico.org.uk/concerns/
